The Usual

Hey guys! It's been a while, I know. I'll give you a quick update on my life:

I'm still working at McDonalds. Yes, the job sucks but it pays okay. I've got about $600 saved up right now from working 5 months. I would have more but I have this problem called shopperitis and I will buy anything that has a price tag. :(

This is my junior year so it's been stressful. We have to do a graduation project before we can graduate and it has to be on something we can learn from. Originally, I was going to do something relating to teaching because that's my career choice. However, I already knew too much about that so it came down to finding something else. That something else turned out to be organic gardening. So, here I am. I'm currently growing onions, strawberries, lettuce, and peppers. The lettuce and strawberries have already started in harvest. The lettuce is delicious! There's just something so satisfying about growing your own food. And, it's healthy too. No preservatives = best way to eat.

I did go to prom and it was pretty good for my junior year. I went with Trish and a group of my other friends from high school so it turned out to be a big girls night. No boy! I'm enjoying the single life which consists of not having to worry about taking care of another person, haha. ( I had a short fling earlier this year that didn't work out.) Honestly, I'm not motivated to take care of another person unless I really like them. I need to work on this, but I don't really see how to do that. :/

Over all, I'm just focusing on finishing this year out right. School and clubs keep me really busy so that I don't have a lot of time to worry about anything else. I still write, and you can head on over to deviantart if you want to check out my stuff. The username is bakabeckii. I have some writings and other stuff there. It's elementary but I'm working to improve it.

That's all for now! I want to put a post up soon on my favorite things from this year as in products, food, music, etc. So, keep an eye out for that. (:
